Thunder Fastpitch Delivers Championship Weekend Across Chicagoland and Wisconsin

Another weekend, another reminder of what Thunder Fastpitch is all about: competing hard, playing for one another, and continuing to grow.

Across Illinois and Wisconsin, Thunder teams put together an incredible stretch of softball this weekend, highlighted by a tournament championship, two runner-up finishes, and a collective eight-game winning streak on Saturday.

14U Black Wins the Deerfield Warrior Classic

Congratulations to Thunder 14U Black, champions of the Deerfield Warrior Classic Softball Tournament!

The team battled through a competitive field all weekend and came away with the championship hardware in extra innings. They played with confidence, toughness, and the kind of energy that makes a long tournament weekend fun to watch.

A huge congratulations to the players, coaches, and families on a well-earned title.

13U Teal Takes Second in the 14U Division

Thunder 13U Teal stepped up at the Illinois Wave Wipeout Fastpitch Tournament and more than held their own.

Playing in the 14U division, the team put together a terrific weekend and finished as tournament runner-up. Competing up is never easy, but this group showed that they are ready to challenge themselves, embrace tough competition, and keep raising the bar.

14U Silver Brings Home Second at the Fondy Firecracker

Up in Wisconsin, Thunder 14U Silver made a strong run at the Fondy Firecracker, finishing in second place.

The team played well throughout the weekend and earned its spot in the championship game through a combination of grit, teamwork, and timely softball. A runner-up finish is something to be proud of, especially against a strong field over a busy summer tournament weekend.

Strong Showings for 16U Black and Thunder Premier

At the Wheaton Red White and Blue, both Thunder 16U Black and Thunder Premier put together strong weekends against quality competition.

Both teams came up short against the eventual tournament champion, but their performances showed plenty to be excited about as the summer continues. At the high school and showcase levels, every game is an opportunity to compete, learn, and prepare for what is next.

Eight Straight Thunder Wins on Saturday

The individual finishes were impressive, but one of the best stories of the weekend was the way Thunder teams showed up across multiple tournaments.

On Saturday, Thunder teams combined for an eight-game winning streak.

That is a lot of dugout energy, a lot of big moments, and a lot of players finding ways to compete for the person next to them. From Deerfield to Wheaton to Fond du Lac, Thunder teams represented the program the right way.
