Thunder Take 2nd in St. Charles
The Thunder took second place in the St. Charles Memorial Day Tournament this past weekend. The girls won the "winner's bracket" but couldn't outlast a tough Warriors team that had just a little bit more in the tank.
As a team, the Thunder outhit their opponents 53 to 34, delivering a slash line of .405/.530/.489. The Thunder threw out a combined ten runners trying to steal this weekends and when faced with our first ever extra innings game, took the lead and held it – which isn’t easy to do.
